DateX Terms of Use
These Terms govern your access to and use of the DateX app, DateX Keyboard, AI generation features, saved Match context, and DateX Pro subscriptions. By choosing Agree & Continue or using DateX after accepting these Terms, you agree to them and to the DateX Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. DateX is not directed to children. You may not use DateX where doing so would violate applicable law.
2. License and Apple terms
Feilong Apps grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DateX on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and applicable App Store rules. DateX is licensed, not sold. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the mandatory Apple terms control to the extent of the conflict.
3. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in text, screenshots, profile details, photos, notes, and other content you submit. You grant DateX a limited license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and transform that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right or permission to submit the content and that doing so does not violate another person's privacy, intellectual-property, contractual, or other rights.
4. AI processing and results
DateX uses Google as a third-party AI provider to analyze content you choose to provide and generate suggestions. AI results may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or unsuitable for your situation. DateX does not guarantee replies, dates, relationships, safety, or any particular outcome. You are responsible for reviewing each result and deciding whether to copy, edit, save, insert, or send it.
5. No professional or emergency advice
DateX provides drafting and general dating-conversation assistance. It is not legal, medical, mental-health, financial, safety, crisis, or professional relationship advice. Do not rely on DateX for emergencies, threats, stalking, abuse, consent, personal safety, or other high-risk decisions. Contact appropriate emergency services or qualified professionals when needed.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use DateX to harass, threaten, deceive, impersonate, exploit, stalk, discriminate against, or violate the consent or privacy of another person. You may not submit unlawful content; sexual content involving minors; credentials or highly sensitive information you lack permission to share; malicious code; or content intended to bypass safeguards. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, resell, overload, probe, or interfere with DateX or use automated means to abuse quotas or access controls.
7. Saved Match context
If you choose Save as Match or otherwise save context, DateX may retain the Match name, profile facts, conversation state, selected actions, topics, outcomes, and related generated material until you delete that Match, request deletion, or retention is otherwise required by law, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. You are responsible for keeping your device and account access secure.
8. DateX Keyboard
Online Keyboard features require Apple's Full Access permission. DateX sends text only when you choose an AI action. You control the keyboard and Full Access permissions in iOS Settings. Keyboard availability and behavior may also depend on Apple, iOS, and the host app.
9. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
DateX Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple and may renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple account at least as required by Apple's rules. Prices, billing periods, trials, taxes, renewal terms, and eligibility are shown by the App Store before purchase. Apple processes payment, cancellation, and applicable refunds. Deleting DateX does not cancel a subscription.
10. Third-party services
DateX depends on Apple, Cloudflare, Google, RevenueCat, Superwall, and other service providers identified in the Privacy Policy. Third-party services may be unavailable, changed, or governed by their own terms. DateX is not responsible for third-party products or services beyond what applicable law requires.
11. Service changes and availability
We may add, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, quotas, models, pricing, or availability to improve DateX, protect users, comply with law, or address technical and commercial needs. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated in the app or by another appropriate method and may require renewed acceptance.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using DateX at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, abused the service, failed to pay, or if continued operation is no longer practicable. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms, will survive.
13. Intellectual property
DateX, its software, design, branding, original content, and related intellectual property belong to Feilong Apps or its licensors. Except for the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DateX is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, availability, or results. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Feilong Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, relationships, or other intangible losses arising from DateX. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for DateX during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing, unless applicable law requires a different amount.
16. Governing terms and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law without overriding consumer protections that cannot legally be waived. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. The forum and process for unresolved disputes will be determined by applicable law and any mandatory Apple terms.
